I just got the bike and it's been sitting for 15 years. I took the carbs off and cleaned them and it fired right up second kick. Problem is, its only running on one cylinder. I get it out on the highway and it seems to kinda want to kick in the second cylinder every now and then. I've played with the points a little and the air/fuel screw and it doesnt change anything. Also I really don't know much about 2 stokes so does a dirty muffler affect anything. I can feel the compression coming out of it but its not as strong as the running side, but i thought maybe thats just cause its not igniting. Also turning the enrichener on seems to help, don't know why. Also my friend put 10w40 in the oil feeder before I could tell him it was a 2 stoke but he said it only took like half a quart, would that stop it from running on just one side?
