I have a 2001 yamaha r6. One days everything was running great, but soon went bad. One problem I know with the bike was that it had a small oil leak, the oil was really low. One day I fired it up, and everytime I put gas on the throttle I can hear a knocking/rattling coming from the engine. I turned it off and called it a day. My brother decided to drive it 10miles to have a friend look at it. It died on him. The bike is getting power from the batter but won't start up. The ignition switch is now just a button becuz u can't even hear the bike trying to start up. Do anyone have any fresj ideas how to fix? Thanks you for taking time.
