Yamaha R6 or Suzuki gsxr600 ---------pick one?

Yamaha R6
i heard its hard to ride cause of the seat position and the stiff suspension

Suzuki gsxr600
haven't done much research...

i'm 16 going to buy a bike in 2010
they are both 600cc---going to get it used

so which would you recommend
thanks for all the help

AND no i don't want to buy a 250cc and sell it in a year
i'll just be using it to go to school/work

Not going on the highway...
 
performance wise I believe the Suzuki beat the R6, but not by much, they are very close, but if this is going to be your first bike I advise against getting something so new and valuable, there are sure to be hard lessons that will be made, but performance wise I think suzuki, but Suzuki parts generally cost more, so it might cost more to maintain as well.
 
if u have lots of practice the r6 is better but in general or for me i think the gixxer is better i have a hayabusa and i can say that suzukis r very reliables hope i help when i was teen i use to admire the r6 but if u want u can go for a gsxr750 is just 1000 dls and 2 kilos more but better than r6 or gsxr600 by something
