Which would be better? Im getting my cycle endorsement and i was wondering which bike i should get, power is no issue as i race a 450 motocross bike, i can handle the power, but which bike is better as in Fuel economy, the weight, and other aspects.
im not looking to bed that ***hole who zips through traffic either if that's what some people were thinking

There is no comparison between a motocross bike and a street-bike. MX bikes don't produce 100+ horsepower or weigh in excess of 400 lbs! The 650R is a much better bike for a rider new to the streets than any 600cc super-sport.

There are what, about one death a year in Motocrossing? Street riding kill people 4,000 to 5,000 a year. Your skills on the track will get you killed on the streets. Handling the power isn't the problem, it is knowing traffic, how to see, how to know what others will be doing, how to dodge.

Why do you want a street motorcycle? Touring? Commuting? Or do you want to play racer on the streets, in the twisties, zipping through traffic? If all you want is to play in traffic, go for the R6, or even the 650R -- your life, not mine.

But you are asking about fuel economy, weight, etc.. Assume you want city riding, a bit on the freeways, maybe a little ride in the country on vacation. A little quarter-liter is all you need . . . less weight, 60ish mpg city. The Ninja 250R, the new Honda CBR250 or Suzuki TU250. Even a little slower, one of the three 250cc cruisers; saddlebags are handy on the streets.
