Yamaha outboard compatible with a Johnson control panel?

i am planning on putting 30hp 2 stroke yamaha motor on a boat that has johnson controls i.e throttle, gear...
i was wondering if they would be compatible together...
 
All they have is a shift lever and a throttle, I don't see any trouble with the switch.
