The golf cart will not accelerate properly. When I push the gas pedal the cart will bog down and start sputtering. I can pull the choke out a little bit and that helps for a minute and then it goes back to sputtering. I have checked and cleaned the carburetor, sparkplug and air filter. I have adjusted the carburetor. I jacked the cart up and revved the engine, if I ease into the gas pedal it runs fine but it looks like the govern moves the throttle by itself. I can keep the gas pedal in the same position and watch as the govern opens and closes the throttle and causes it to bog when it is opened too far. How do I adjust how far the govern opens and closes the throttle? Is this an electrical issue?
