Yamaha FZR turns over DOES NOT START?

i bought a brand new battery and its been holding a good charge, though my bike wont start. It just keeps turning over wanting to start.. im not that familiar with motorcylces like i am with cars. though any advice will help!
 
Have you tryed jump starting it?? , if you dont know what it is it's when you run with the bike when it's in neuteral then when you think you going fast enought jump on it when it's still moving fast and put it into first gear then rev it. that should start it
