yamaha enduro identification??

i bought what was a DT125A 1974 yamaha frame numbers 444.... here's the rub. it has a CT1-027067 engine number, should be a 175cc...right. however the cylinder bore is 2.205" which is a 125cc. whats going on. am i crazy or what?
 
How did you determine that the CT1 engine should be 175cc?
Engine #s have no correlation to engine size.
Engine sizes are sometimes stamped into the metal near the bottom of the cylinder.

When in doubt, check it out.
