So I can't start my 2001 yamaha blaster without starting fluid. I cleaned the carb, replaced fuel line and filter, new spark plug and checked everything else over but still no luck. I read a question on here with the same situation and they said it may need a top end rebuild (cylinder, piston & rings). But I was wondering if I could instead just get new rings a cheaper fix then the $150 for the whole cylinder kit. Any thoughts or suggestions???
