my son was on his way home and called to say he heard a backfire sound from the exhaust, at the same time the scooter started cuting out at about 4000 revs. the petrol tank was almost empty so i filled it up[this made no difference] checked that fuel was getting to carb and that was ok, its got plenty of 2 stroke in but just wont stay running over the 4000 rpms any ideas ?
yamaha areox 100 cuts out at 4000 rpms what could be wrong with it?
