It may be . This site is self monitored by mob rule . It only takes two people to get you yanked.

In the politics section, there are two main reasons questions are deleted.
1. They are rants. If the content of your question and added details is more than 25% background and/or your opinion, then it will be a rant. Ask the question, don't give us your answer, and keep your opinions to yourself. YA is not a political forum or discussion group.
2. They are not questions under the YA rules. Questions get asked like, "What was Obama thinking?" or "What is your opinion......?". The first is of course impossible to answer and the second is pure chat.
The number that violate the rules are pretty much the same no matter what party or opinion you are. Both sides complain just as much.
