Y&R Heather Stevens the stupidest lawyer on T.V.?

Okay, I am no lawyer, but aren't you supposed to investigate things before arresting people. Heather hears that nut Mary Jane(who purposely let Heather hear her) about making poor Summer pay the price for her mother's need of attention from Nick. Isn't investigating things part of a lawyers's job before you arrest people? She has go to be the dumbest lawyer on the planet!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see Phyllis slap the S*% out of her tomorow, lol.

Oh man is she ever and I think someone needs to slap the s*** out of her . I mean Nikki almost did and so did Victoria and then there was Lauren who almost slapped the mess out of her and yes the writers are taking this story line way too far .
 
Lawyers don't arrest. The police do the leg work and do the arresting. The writers are stupid or think the viewing people are stupid. Or maybe because it is a "story" we are to over-look these. errors in writing.
 
Stupid must run in Heather's family because Paul is not the smartest P.I he sits back and lets everyone else do his work for him, you think he would help out his daughter, I know he has tried and then she has such an attitude, she still holds a grudge with Paul, kind of like Adam holding one with Victor.
In the real world Heather should have followed up on this hearsay before having Big Red arrested maybe Red could get out on a technicality.
