are sticky and will not dry, fixab? Is there an alternative to stripping and refinishing the tables? They look and feel terrible but if I have to do any kind of work to them, then I will have to do the chairs as well to get them to match. Four tables that seat 50 girls, it is a huge job! I just recently started working here, and the housekeeper quit after she ruined the tables at the beginning of the year. The tables have left in the condition that she left them in so no one knows what she used. We have to use them so they wipe them down with just water and try to dry them immediately. We cannot cover them because everything sticks to them and it makes it harder to clean them. Some one said to use straight amonia, but I am not comfotable with that as amonia can ruin would as well.
