Y do my 2008 toyota corolla's front wheels get jammed ? its too risky please answer.?

I have a 2008 toyota corolla which i bought in jan 2008 (brand new). from past 1 week, the front wheels are getting jammed when ever it rains. n if i try to force the drive, smoke comes out of the front wheels and a burning smell like rubber's, black soot deposited on the rims. this is just random n in a few minutes it becomes normal. this wasn't a prob until the roads became wet n ma car was out of control luckily i managed it without a crash. Can any1 answer y is it happening?
