Whenever I am on Y/A, those opposed to health care reform always use this argument:
(Loosely quoted)
" No one is denied health care. Anyone can go to the ER and get treatment."
Yes, anyone can go to any county hospital and receive care. But if they can't pay the bill, who do you think gets charged? We that have insurance end up paying for it. Our premiums go up, doctor's visits go up and a tylenol given in the hospital costs $5.
So, please enlighten me on how this argument furthers your cause. To me and millions of others, this may be a very good reason why we need reform.
OUT2LUNCH4NOW2: Which article are you referring to? I'd like to read it. Not to prove anything to you, just out of curiosity.
Oh, out2lunch, I apologize for only skimming your answer. I see what you are getting at as far as the constitution.
