Saw this last night. Great fun and packed full of over-the-top action. The acting isn't the best but the action scenes make up for it. Don't wait for this one to come out on DVD / video, it has to be seen on the big screen, and preferably a loud one too.

If anyone has seen it yet, what did they think of the snowboard scene ? I thought it was awesome.

I reckon that Vin Diesel has now taken Arnies crown. I am looking forward to see how he competes in the upcoming Terminator 3 : Rise Of The Robots.
 
I saw it on Sunday and thought it was excellent as an action movie with a bit of a story line, a definite dvd purchase. It was that action packed, virtually non stop, that it felt strange coming out of the cinema into normality.:)

There are supposed to be plenty of xXx sequels in the pipe line, as Vin Diesel takes on a rough, James Bond, image as a super spy. Basically I think the film is America's answer to James Bond so it is bit over the top but still thoroughly enjoyable.

It is the first film I have physically seen Vin Diesel in, other than listening to his voice in The Iron Giant, and I thought he had the screen presence to take on Arnie type roles in the future.
 
It certainly was very enjoyable, some of those action sequences were superbly shot. The plot was thin but that doesn't bother me. However, the biggest let-down was the lead. That character is never going appeal to the public anything like the same way Bond does and I thought that Diesel chap was paticularly weak. Shame really.

Although I believe a follow-up's already been commissioned!
 
I have'nt actually seen this yet but will be seeing it when it comes out on DVD as I like vin diesel films I have his Pitch Black and the fast and the furious Both brilliant films so if they are anything to go by then this one will be brilliant :)
 
How can you describe diesel as weak? All the way thru this movie i was thinking, xxx is the new bond franchise! Lets hope so, the second one is already underway...
