xv6700 screwy #228

I have a 6700. just got it from ebay and it is supposed to be flashed to cricket already. I try calling cricket from this phone to add the esn and it just says on the screen "roaming" then it takes me to a verizon help line. also when I hit #228, it takes me to the verizon reprogramming site. did i get screwed? also when i power on the phone, veriaon comes on the screen,not cricket.

Unless you paid a huge premium to have the phone activated on cricket, you probably didn't get screwed, you'll just have to do the programming yourself.. It's pretty simple, and it'll give you an insight into your phone's capabilities that you'd never get if you had someone else mod it for you.
