xv6700 or Treo 700wx

I am mainly concerned about easy interent browsing and email access. Which phone would I be happier with and why? I don't really like how you have to open the 6700 to dial a nuraber and I like the size of the screen on the Treo. Any and all input will be appreciated.
 
you don't open the 6700 to dial.. the keypad is on the touchscreen.

It's also much easier to program, and all features work. internet works on the 700wx, but no picture messaging.

I'd recommend going into a verizon store and playing with both.. If yo don't care about pic messaging, then it's simply a matter of which phone you prefer, then learning how to mod whichever one you pic.
 
I think a 6700 would be better for internet browsing because of the support of lanRABcape mode. However, I've never browsed the web on a Treo before, so I can't really say whether or not a square screen is bad for it.
 
6700 it is. I was unaware you dialed nurabers from the touch screen. Faster web browsing is a big big plus for me. Thanks for the feedback, looking forward to getting one.
 
Reconsidering now. I went to Verizon today and looked at the 6700 for the first time. I was not overly impressed with how it felt. The slider seemed like it always wanted to slide open. The only real thing I liked about it over the Treo was the keyboard size. I am wondering if I will be happier with the 700WX instead. How much difference is ther really in web browsing performance?
 
FYI, my slider doesn't open much, but it does slide just a little bit... The only thing about it that bugs me is that if you open and close the slider, the phone turns itself on, and you could dial in your pocket.... I think that's happened once in 6 months, however.. It's not a huge deal.

I understand where you're at... I've been debating getting a treo for a while, just to play with it. One of my good frienRAB has a treo 650 and she LOVES it (hers isn't on cricket).

I don't think you can go wrong with the 700wx or the 6700. BOth are great phones. LIke I said earlier, it's all about which you prefer, and if you have the skills to mod one, or someone willing to mod it for you.
 
Well I hope it is not an issue and I can get it to work. I bought it because it was suggested to me by an experienced person with all the PDA's available.

I did get a very good deal on it though so I can always re-sell it.
 
I got the Q too and i think is better than the 6700s because is lighter, thinner and it also has a better look.

Once MMS and WAP is working on it the phone is even better
 
After doing some research (which I should have done prior to buying) I see the Q does not come very highly recommended for web browsing and email use, as the 700Wx and 6700 do.
 
Need to know how to flash a verizon xv6700 pocket pc to full cricket service
its running windows mob Ce any info on the files and process would great
