It looks as if the X5 is actually going to be Xperia X3. The Rachael Xperia X3 is still Sony Ericsson's first Android smartphone and specs are now available, courtesy of Expansys.

Hey jeni, thankx for this post... The phone looks amazing and does it really have a 4" display... I read several reviews about the X3 and just can't wait for it anymore, any idea, when its going to be out in the market.

Hey don't you think the phone would be better if it would have a xenon flash. what you think about the Android OS? Is it better than Mac OS?

Im sure this phone is going to be damn expensive, any guesses?? :screwy:

It is an awesome looking phone. From what the specs says, it does have a 4" display which makes it even better. as far as the price, I have not heard it mentioned as of yet, but when I do, I will sure post it.:)

Hey jenni, thanxxx for the reply..

Well, let me tell you honestly, I have fallen for this phone, I just can't stop thinking about it, yesterday after I posted out here, I went down to gsm arena and read everything about the phone, I really need to see this phone...

Don't know whether I'll be able to buy it or not but I will not stop thinking about it until I get the chance to play with.

Do you know, when its going to be out in the market?? Is it already out in Europe??

Thanks Jeni for posting the info. Do you, or anyone else, know if

Dual-band 3G (900/2100 MHz)

is compatible with AT&T? Thanks.

The AT&T 3G network uses HSDPA/UMTS technology (High Speed Downlink Packet Access/Universal Mobile Telephone System), which makes it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless services. It also gives AT&T the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and data services. That means you can talk and use the Internet at the same time. How's that for multitasking?

AT&T works under 850/1900 MHz 3G bands.

I'm not quite sure whether I could give a proper answer to your question but thats all I know about 3G & stuff.........

Thank you. It would appear that the X3 uses frequencies for G-3 that AT&T does not use, at least for now. If so, I will either get something else or I will wait until they make an AT&T compatible phone.
