Xperia Play vs Atrix

i have a xperia play right now...should i trade it for an atrix? is it a fair trade?

guess that's a fair trade. atrix has bigger memory/storage and it has better screen pixel of .52 compare to xperia play's .41. you can really review all the specs so u can decide.

The hardware specs of the Atrix is superior all around. The Xperia Play though, got Gingerbread and probably easier to root. But the Atrix might still update to Gingerbread later on, and you can't update the hardware on the Play.

There are other phones far more superior than the Xperia Play but what makes it special is obviously its gaming feature. I too have a Xperia Play.. I would have gotten the Arc but I chose the Play because of this feature so unless you're not much into gaming an all then getting the Atrix does sound like a good move for you.

Imho i see it would just be wise to have both as one could be a backup. I believe people usually have more than one android phone now a days......

If you can afford it, go ahead and make it a double --- Atrix and Play.

If you're into games, there's going to be some games specific to the Play that will make use of the keypad, etc,. and its all Sony's. On the other hand, there's going to be some games that is going to be specific for the nVidia Tegra2, meant to exploit its sheer power. That's for the Atrix.

I enjoy keeping multiple Android phones because they constantly sync with each other to maintain the same contacts, email and calendar base.
