xbox360 headset help please!!!?

for some reason my headset dosent work, i can talk to people but i cant hear them, is there any way i can hear people from my speakers/tv instead of my headset??? i really need help!!! thanks!

Get go to settings and change it.
Headphone settings. or Audio settings

Listen to me.Press the guide button(The silver X button in the middle of control) then go to the end on the right on preferences i think or somewhere there and choose it and then it should say voice and choose that and there is a option to listen to them through speakers even while headset is on.You wouldn't want to keep unplugging your mic to hear your friend's response now would you?

I Had the same problem its broken buy a new one there is no way to fix it

try restarting your box. or under settings you can change it so sound goes through both.

or get a new one.. 19 dolla suhn.

Dude I have gone through about 4 headsets already. There just cheaply made. First try and play with friends and talk in a private party. If it doesn't work, gotta buy a new one
