xbox controller weird malfunction (please help)?

ok so today, i turned on my xbox, a usual sunday morning... and i got in a game (mw2) and when my character looks right, it moves SUPER slow, like when you're prone and stuck in a corner, it only happens when i look right and it moves soooooooo slow and it's killed me many of times and i really need some help fixing this problem before my kill/death ration suffers :"(
