Yea i got it from the like the second or third batch. I dont believe it to be a problem with the xbox it self. I believe it happened cause of the fact that the game i was playin was rented.
Here's what happened:
I went to blockbuster and rented Ultimate Alliance. I played through the first stage and went to go change characters. While i was changing characters the system froze. I turned it off took the game out and got the three flashing red lights. Then went to check FAQ's at xbox.com. Followed the directions of unplugging the system taking the hard drive off, turning it on, then turning it off, unplugging it, putting the hard drive back on and bam, it works again. Played for a couple days on either Halo2, GOW, and Smackdown vs. Raw. Wanted to try Ultimate Alliance again, played for maybe thirty seconds and it froze again. This time the trouble shoot steps provided couldnt bring it back.
Now im no computer or console expert but to me it seems like the game caused the problem here
