hi,
i'm having annoying problems with my wireless xbox 360 controller. first and foremost i should point out that i use standard (not rechargeable) batteries and they are of good quality and have full power. they're brand new. i've been using these brand of batteries for the entire 6 months i've had my 360 without any previous problems.
all of a sudden the controller has started to disconnect at the most inopportune moments of online play. i've noticed that it disconnects if i agitate the controller, ie, shake it a bit or get angry with it!! it seems as if the battery pack or some kind of connector somewhere might be loose so that a bit of activity cuts the power to the pad immediately. i've tried disassembling the battery pack, cleaning connectors, a good shake, a whack and a few other methods but nothing seems to be resolving the issue.
has anyone experienced the same or have a solution to the problem before i invest in a new controller?
thanks for all your help and for reading my question.
ps. anyone who suggests putting new batteries in will be shot.
