XBOX 360 Wireless Adapter Range?

i want to connect to xbox live in my room, but my xbox is 2 floors above my router, and in the same corner (my xbox is on the 2nd floor of my house and my router is in the basement). Will the new wireless N adapter be able to connect my xbox to live, or is the range too far?
 
i have a wireless adapter, and my router is two floors ABOVE me. it can be laggy at times, but you still should be able to connect. i'd advise you go ahead and try it out.
