Xbox 360 V.2

I don't need HDMI because my TV supports 1080i, and if I want surround sound, I can't USE HDMI.

The 120 GB hard drive is a BIT much.

I have 4 demos on mine right now and I still have 10 GB left.

People say I want to hold Music blah blah blah. That is what they make the Zune and the Zune Software for. If you want to tkae your music with you, get teh zune and plug it into the 360. If you don't need an MP3 player, just get the software and stream it over your network like I do.

I will stick with my Version 1 until it dies or I want a second.

If this comes out, and its quality has improved, id highly consider getting one.

hdmi is the shit, but you need a good tv or it will give issues.

kinda blows for current 360 owners..

yea.. i was semi interested in getting a 360 in the next month or so, but I guess i might as well wait. Seeing as halo3 is my only interest on the 360 so far. Gears of war is fun, but not worth me spending 400 dollars to play it... Halo 3 on the other hand....

Component can technically carry a 1080P signal but will not in almost every TV due to anti-piracy bullshit that ultimately hurts the consumer.

kinda does And its not even the fact that they are doing shit for HD easier on the new one or whatever( I didnt pay attention to that section cause I dont have HD). What kinda pisses me off is that they have it designed to run cooler then the previous build. I haven't had any problems with mine at all, never seen a red light other then the hard drive not being connected entirely, and im on a launch box but still, thats fucked up.

So why do you care? The die size of the CPU isn't just going to change on this new version, but on all the Xbox 360's they will manufacture when they switch and it isn't about running cooler as much as it is saving money, which means they'll drop the price.

But then again, the new Xbox will probably play games much better than your current one!

Supposidly this version should have the smaller die. Remember, when a company delays till mid 2004, that could mean the end of march.

Plus, i bet MS is hounding their ass to push it out the door. I bet mad overtime is going in.

I'm hoping for the same thing, too. I figure that the die shrink should translate to lower temps within the case, which may translate to greater reliability, although it could well be that what they really need is a GPU die shrink.
