No, they fix RROD systems free of charge. The number to call is 1-800-4MYXBOX. When you get it back they also give you a free month of Live
 
Depends on when your xbox was purchased, they have a 3-year RROD warranty from the purchase date. If its outside of that they will charge you. Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they'll look it up for you.
 
...this fixed? I mean if it's their fault why should I pay? Do they charge to get this fixed.
 
If you've had your 360 for less than 3 years, they'll fix it for free. Microsoft extended the warranty on consoles that get the red rings to 3 years from the purchase date. Call 1-800-4-My-Xbox and tell them you got the red rings. They'll take down your info and send you a box with a shipping sticker and instructions.
 
no i have had this twice once under guarantee (after 3 days from new) and then out of guarantee.go to xbox website register your xbox then get in touch with customer support. they had that many problems with the ring of death they do a free repair
