Xbox 360 non-HD component input... possible?

My tv has a component video input on the back but is not a HDTV. Naturally, putting in the green/blue/red cables doesn't exactly work on default hd settings. Is there any way to configure the console to put out a component, non-hd signal through these cables, similar to how you could get component cables for ps2/xbox? Thanks
 
Yeah you can
I used to have my 360 connected with component cables to my old tv
just be sure to put the cables? switch to SD instead of HD
 
its not 480p but it will DRASTICALLY make your picture look better compared to composite. I used to do that w/ my old xbox before I got my monitor.
 
I had one for my ps2 and it worked great.

As for the 360, I've only seen the dashboard with component so far, but the colors are more vibrant and the text is much crisper, its great.
