xbox 360 controller to computer?

As far as I'm aware, the wired 360 controller should work with a PC too. So long as you have the right drivers.

The play & charge kit doesn't work with the PC though as it still communicates through the wireless and only uses the USB ports power to charge the battery.

if it's a wireless controller with that play and charge cable then it wont work, since that doesn't actually transfer any signals, and only recharges the battery

later this year microsoft is apparently releasing a wireless USB thingy that will let your wireless 360 accessories work with the PC

Yes the Microsoft driver blows, theres a third party driver that works great though.

Wired 360 controller makes an excellent PC controller with the third party driver google it because I can't recall the name.

Didn't read anything but the first post, but if you are talking about a wireless controler and the play and charge kit then no, they won't work. The play and charge kit ONLY charges the controler and it still uses wireless to connect to the 360.

As of now there is no way to connect wireless things to a PC, but MS is coming out with an adaptor arround Sept that'll let you.
