xbox 360 connected in Toyota will automatically shut down for no reason?

I have my xbox 360 elite connected to the screen in my Toyota tundra. I can play arcade games that are downloaded to my hard drive but I can't play gameslike halo tha require a disc even though I have the game on my hard drive
The xbox shuts off after about 10 seconds everytime I have a disc in
 
Im thinking your tundra (or your inverter) is not supplying adequate power to the unit once it spins up the disc drive.

Check the total power requirements of all the devices you have running off of your inverter against the total power output of the inverter you have them plugged into.

The XBox 360 requires at least 160 Watts on its own.
