xbox 360,can you use a usb flash drive for........?

i just got a free xbox 360 from a friend..he said it wouldn't read any games....
so i opened it.cleaned it with some alcohol and it works like new now :) YAY FOR ME....anyway

i donthave any games except for a few original xbox games..i was wondering if its possable to use a USB flash drive to mount them to the usb stick.and play em on the 360.

i plan on flashing the dvd drive soon.but for now i want to see if i could use a usb stick for games.

if not.can i hook up the 360 to my PC and play a game stored on my pc?...
any tips tricks or sites would be cool too.

and do you NEED a hard drive to download demo's from XBL?
is jtag hack easy to do on a zepher xbox with benq drive?
and how hard is it?
 
you can't use any tiype of mass storage dievice like a usb to play games of only a mermory card, disc or hdd will play a game, and for the demo part you don't have to get one some memory cards are big enough for 1 but if you want multiplayer demo's then it would be ideal to buy a hdd
but in the long run it would be very ideal to buy a hdd
 
Well you cannot play games that are running from a USB. The only compatible storage device that can hold the games are the official xbox 360 hard drives. Using a USB will just let play music, view photos and stuff like that.
You will need a hard drive to download demos since the demos are usually pretty big and the 360's internal memory is quite small.
