xbox 360 broke headset?

Hi, the tip on my mic broke off and fell into the controller. i managed to shake the tip out but i've bought 2 mics and they both broke, and don't wanna buy another one. is there any way i can repair it by putting the tip back on? anything i can buy for cheap maybe that can work??

what is solder?
 
juiced just likes to talk about himself, just stick it back on. if you dont know what solder is then look it up on dictionary.reference.com
 
i had that happen to me but DONT just stick it back on because theres a good chance of it falling back in. and soldering is melting a metal to another metal to connect the 2. Sorry i cant help u with fixing it cause i bought a new 1
