Hi, I have an XBox 360 Arcade version, I bought it used like 2 yrs ago. My boyfriend said it does not have a hard drive OR WiFi but it has a memory stick thing that sticks out in on it & he said that is the reason we can "save" some of our games. I buy him the Official XBox Magazine that comes with the game demo discs. Can he get his console updates from using the discs? Or does he have to go online somehow hook up to our computer & get them from his XBox Live? (We have the free Silver Live kind of account.) I know there are free updates we can get from going to XBox Live, however we want to know if the colors & things changed on our screen because of updates that came on one of the demo discs that came with the magazine because we had not played with th XBox in a long time & when we got 1 of the magazines & put in the demo disc, the screen format changed for good. We can now have avitars, dress them up, etc. & we couldn't do that before...is that what happened?
