xbox 360 arcade question?

so my xbox 360 pro got red ring and there is no possible way to fix it. i did the towel trick for a while but it doesnt work anymore. so im going to go get an xbox arcade. my question is can i use my old hard drive with and since it doesnt come with the hd plug in can i use my old one that i got with my first 360?
 
Should be able to use same plug in. Since the hard drive is like the xbox's brain, if you have red ring, hard drive is probably shot. You could send your xbox in, and have it fixed. Also, I have heard of people that don't use, or buy an xbox hard drive. Somehow, they can hook up other hardrives that work the same.

***If hard drive isn't bugged, it should work, if Your tv has spot for hd cable, and the arcade does too, the cable will also work.
