Xbox 360 Arcade or Xbox 360 Slim?

I want to buy an Xbox 360 by April to get the upcoming Gears of War 3, but I don't know which. I want to get the Xbox 360 Arcade, with just the console, the controler, and just enough memory to save my games. But I read that the Xbox 360 Slim has a built in fan, even though I don't play a lot, but I still want it to last. I also read that there was some problems with it as well.

Keep in mind: I don't care about online play, the "badass" look, or that it's quieter. (a lot has recomended the slim because it's quieter)

The Arcade SKU has two built in fans. Every XBOX 360 ever made has built in fans. What are you talking about?

i suggest you go with the xbox 360 slim it's more sleek has built in wifi, 250 gb, and is kinect ready plus it's only 100 dollars more.
