It is your cables. You need to buy new cables for your Xbox. The ones that you plug into your TV. The ones you have are fried, or a part is lose. Dont send it in, just get the new cables. That is why it worked at the store.

when i turn on my xbox the bottom right light goes on and starts flashing red. I followed the online support and nothing worked, so i took it in to future shop. Future shop plugged it in with there cables and ran it for 10 minutes with no problem. When i got home i plugged it back in and it doesnt work.
any suggestions?

Hey

Its not your cables, because that encours 4 red rings.
it is very possible either a processor failure or motherboard.

Im sure my cousin had it, and there was an error message on his tv,
i could be wrong, but i think its a hardware failure. Sorry

Hope This Helps

wrap it up in a towel, this will take care of the light

they is a video online that you can watch to see how its done

you probably need to push in all the cables, when anything in the back of your console is loose than youll ahve the red lights so just make sure all the plugs are secure. hop i helped. :]]

dont do the towel thing......me and my friend did it and it worked for about 20 minutes until he got the red ring of death

hmm... im guessing with that one red light you will get an error code... look at this site and try a few things that may help fix it. If your problem is not covered in this page, call microsoft and ask for a repair. if you are in warranty, i is free. If you are not in warranty, it will be $100. Best of luck to you.
