To me the answer would be if you have ever taken this drug before. If you have, you made need a higher dosage to feel the effects when "kicking in". But I would say generally speaking within 20 minutes.
I felt the best about an hour to an hour and half after taking it. I was on .25 mg and had to take that plus a half after about a month. I'm off it now and am taking Klonopin as per doctors advisement. I really liked it though.
