Xanax - Helps with dizziness?

Anyone else experience this? I've read that Xanax can cause dizziness. For me, it's been the opposite. Since my panic attack last week, I've had this feeling of being kind of off. Not dizzy lke things are spinning, but just a bit out of sorts. After I take the Xanax, that feeling seems to subside.
 
I was told by a dr. that xanax can relieve dizziness and it does help me with that. I had fluid in my left ear and it really had me off balance which scared me because I didn't know what was going on so I ended up with an anxiety attack and took xanax and actually felt better within 30 mins. When I went to the dr. he told me xanax can help with dizziness as well as valium.
 
It can help for some people.However,one of the possible side effects is dizziness.So it varies from person to person.
It's a very calming drug though,so it will definitely help if you are having anxiety.
