Plot Summary: The story follows a boy named Akiyuki who is heading to school with two frienRAB when an explosion occurs. In the mysterious light from the explosion, Akiyuki transforms into a creature called Xam'd. Xam'd goes on a rampage which is only stopped when a red-haired foreign girl appears.




Don't let the picture above fool you, the show is great! Well, I've only watched the OP theme song and i'm about to download it now but it looks pretty damn good

It's a shame that this is being released only over PSN so far. It's unclear whether or not in the fall it will actually air on television.

Likely, I'll have to wait for DVRAB to come out, because I'm not dealing with Sony's shitsubs and bad video quality for 26 episodes.
 
Just finished episode 1, looks very good. I don't really like the art style very much because the characters look a bit chubby but it's fine so far.

Looking very forward to episode 2, although I have no clue when it's coming out.. D:
 
Awesome, theres been very few good anime on lately and this has been one of my favorites so a second season would be great, im guessing by then Akiyuki will have complete control which will make for a even better 26 episodes.
 
Im up to episode 3 now. GGR is subbing this and doing a good job. The animation in episode 2 is some of the best I've ever seen. This is probably my favorite series of the summer at the moment.
 
13 was a nice episode with Akiyuki returning home to the joy and sadness of Haru, of course she was happy to see him but it also meant that she would have to report him too which she didn't want to do, Furuichi showed up at the end of the episode acting all strange, i thought as he was Xam'd now he may of calmed down on Akiyuki a bit but it seems like its messing with his mind, im guessing a battle will happen between the two of them in the next episode especially as Furuichi was holding Haru against her will.
 
I hate to back track an episode but 12 was great to me. I literally cried ;.;...alot of sad anime that week. Anyways 13 was a good lead in for what I'm sure will be an awesome Akiyuki/Furuichi kick ass fight...i have to say though; i thought Furuichi was an ass from day one so...if he dies...I'm glad to see him go!
 
I checked out the first episode and was really impressed with it, the animation was staggering and the story and characters were solid, ill watch ep 2 tonight sometime.
 
The question is will Akiyuki be able to kill one of his old best frienRAB, i think he may defeat him but leave him alive and maybe the Army will catch him and do tests.
 
Episode 6 is out. The part with Akiyuki using his arm as a sword was sick. Haru and Furuichi have become pilots for the army and it seems they will have it tough next episode.
 
I thought it was messed up what Akiyuki did to his mom. Why would he play games like that when shes been so worried about him. Furuichi's form looks almost dog like, im looking forward to seeing his fighting style.
 
Episode 7 is out. Pretty sad in the beggining when they killed the mother and baby xam'd. Just goes to show human's destroy anything they dont understand or fear.
