(x2) JL audio 12w3v3 vs (x1) Rockford fosgate T2 (or T1)?

My cousin currently has 2 Jl 12w3v3's and he was willing to sell them to me. I was wondering if i should go with one RF T1/T2 instead? Both setups i would probably go with like either a JL 800.1 or an Alpine m1000. which setup would be louder? which setup would be cleaner sounding?
