X reg 2001 ford mondeo zetec 1.8 no abs?

I have the above mentioned car.
Im just curious as my car doesnt have ABS...theres no light on the dashboard.

Were certain cars given ABS...i mean, my cars the MK2....if i had an early one would it not have came with abs???

Weird because everywhere i look it says my car has ABS even though clearly it doesnt

have you physically looked under the bonnet for the ABS pump?...ill eat my hat if it isn't fitted with ABS..

well JG,looks like its a ''Dakar'' cap for tea for me.
 
The old shape (up to 2001) Mondeo Zetec doesn't have ABS. The Standard & Aspen models don't either.
If it's the new shape (2000 on), then they all have ABS - if yours doesn't, then someone has disconnected the bulb, or the system may have a fault.

Just seen your additional info: As above, the Mk2 doesn't have ABS.
