X Men Spin Offs - Straight to DVD

I am not talking about the upcoming Wolverine and Magneto movies. But it does appear that the studio is toying with the idea of releasing some straight to DVD movies featuring some of the other X Men characters.

Any thoughts?
 
I am hoping that it will not happen. I would love to see another big screen outing for mutants. With the amount of characters available to them, they could easily make more films even if the likes of Hugh Jackman decide they don’t want to a part of it.
 
Mmm... That makes AICN look like a professional site. After reading the link, I have to days I'm sick to death of people blaming Ratner for the state of X3. Ratner was handed a finished script, and told to make it in four months after Matthew Vaughn took his ball and went home. And he did a pretty good job of it. Sure the story pretty much sucked, but that had nothing to do with Ratner.
 
I wasn't saying it was (it may be - it's gossip site), but my comment was in response to that typically reactionary nonsense about Ratner.
 
Agreed. People go completely over the top about how bad X3 was. there were some poor editing decisions, and too many characters with too little to do, but ti really isn't a bad 3rd film. It had an interesting premise and was still very enjoyable
