Does anyone know why the characters Jubilee and Gambit haven't been featured in the films?

Or have they - perhaps I've missed it? I only ever saw the first one!
 
Um... because the best x-men characters/stories were written before those two were created?

In a sense X3 was a homage to the original X-Men. They were all there just like a school reunion. :)

What would have been really nice was to have seen Thunderbird.

But hey, you can't accomadate everyone. Maybe the spin-off's?

I think they sorta needed that young girl/innocence factor in there so sorta made rogue the jubilee charactor from the cartoons....
 
Jubilee was definitely in the second movie - she had a reasonably big part in one scene, although she never demonstated any powers. Didn't notice her popping up in X3 - but then I've only seen it once. Will wait until I get the DVD to spot minor characters!

And, personally, I'm glad they didn't give her a bigger part - not the most exciting of characters from the original comic...
