I'm excited to see Gambit on the big screen, but I think it'll be almost as exciting to see Deadpool, especially since it looks like they did a fairly decent job with his character.
Oh, I hope you do too! It looks like it'll be epic on the big screen And that's a shame you never got to see the X-Men films in the cinema! I know it's almost a cliche but there's nothing quite like the big screen experience, especially for films like those.
i'm still not sure if i will see the movie or not lol. i love hugh,,,but i still think it's weird they gave him a spin-off prequel...seeing as how the 3 x-men movies focused on him anyway lol
I'm still really annoyed at how little of everyone else there was in the film, and I know some people have tried to justify it by saying that there are going to be separate origin films for them (like Deadpool), but it's not like I wanted entire origin stories for them all amongst Wolverine's, but just something more than 2-minute scenes would've been nice! I agree with you that the romance was a bit overlong, a lot of the dialogue felt clunky in those scenes too.
I thought Victor Creed was pretty amazing, though (even though the brother thing makes no sense ).
Ok if Gambit is in this movie and he's around his twenties when this is taking place. And in X Men two Rouge is a teenager and Stryker is a much older man where he's younger here. Would that make Gambit around Cyclops age when she's a teen.
