X-Men 3

Well of the main cast I know Halle Berry was extremely keen to return, she insisted that an X4 would be made, and she'd love to return, while Hugh Jackman (sat next to her) was convinced that there'd be no more. To me that says he's only interested now in 'Wolverine' movies.

Rebecca Romijn has said she's 'done with blue make-up'. She asked to be written out of the series.

Ian McKellen got very excited when he found out the end to X3, so he's keen to return.

Patrick Stewart had the final scene added especially for him to have the option of coming back, so I think he'd return.

Anna Paquin was disappointed with her ending, she hoped to evolve more, so maybe coming back would give her the chance to.

I haven't heard anything about Famke Janssen or James Marsden.

Of course, they might all want to return, but budget could say otherwise (which is silly considering the profits they make).

3 is my fave, and im a big comic book fan.

Didnt like Halle Berry too much though, I heard she demanded a bigger part or she wouldnt do this movie, shame because she isnt suited as a main character with wolvey.

However I think the film had better pace than the other 2 and we got to see a lot more of the mutants powers.

I hope next film will be centered around the sentinels that way you dont really need jean and cyclops. Mainly Jubilee, Gambit, Rogue, Cabel (of course), Magneto and Proffesor X.

I loved the mutants in X3, particularly multiple man and pyro.

Appartently Shawn Ashmore, Aaron Stanford, Ellen Page and Ben Foster already would be signed up with an option to do X4 in their contract for X3!
There are still rumours about a possible The New Mutants film which could form the basis of X4 if they cant get the bigger stars such as Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman to return!

I really hope they can get all the original cast back, and the original director. A recast for some of the more important characters just wouldn't be good IMO.

Most Fox/X-men contracts were for two or three movies. Ray Park, Tyler Mane, Alan Cumming and Kelly Hu all signed multi-movie deals but only ever appeared in one. It's more a "just in case" clause in the contract, and shows little about what how many movies the studio actually intenRAB to make. I think Mr. Jones is overstating what his contact actually means.

This has been reported on Superherohype that Cayden Boyd will play the young Archangel in X3. Ben Foster will play the adult version of the Archangel!

That sounRAB right. Don't forget Vinnie Jones said he was signed up until a possible X5. I'm sure they'd want Kelsey Grammer back as well.

Of course Tyler Mane, Rap Park, Kelly Hu and Alan Cumming are all signed for another one, so who knows who could return!

I'll ask Daniel Cudmore if he signed for a third film or not.

Wings looked fine to me. Pretty good CGI. You wanna talk about 'fake', let's discuss Vinnie's rubber muscle-suit for Juggernaut. Ick.

No Alan Cumming doesn't mean no Nightcrawler.
He could be in it that little, that he is totally CGI, or another actor could be playing the role... Many possibilities...

From SHH:

20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment set Brett Ratner ("Rush Hour" films) on Friday night to replace Matthew Vaughn as the director of X-Men 3, reports Variety. Shooting will start in August for a Memorial Day weekend 2006 opening date.

A comic book enthusiast, Ratner was among the helmers considered to direct the first X-Men. The job went to Bryan Singer instead. Ratner then spent a full year developing Superman Returns, the film that ultimately prompted Singer to drop out of directing "X3."

The trade adRAB that the "X3" budget is locked, and Fox and Marvel brass consider the script by Zak Penn and Simon Kinberg to be at least as strong as that of the first two installments. The original returning stars have been signed, and the cast is bolstered by Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut and Lost star Maggie Grace as Kitty Pryde (aka Shadowcat).
