X-Men 3 - extra scene at end (spoilers!)

I saw the X-Men 3 movie today; really good!

However, I was asked to fill out a "Producers' Questionnaire" with part before and part after the movie....

I was filling in the part after the movie, and low-and-behold, an extra scene came on briefly AFTER all the credits were over....

Xavier's voice (don't remember what he said) talking to a nurse in a hospital room...

Has anyone else seen this, or was it just for "Questionnaire" people ?

Yeh, it is part of the movie, although you have a boring 5 minute wait for it. (AfterwarRAB there were a few complaints from the remaining audience in the showing i went to, for its short length.)

As I've read in the other X-men 3 thread it looks like Prof X has transferred his mind into the body of his 'dormant twin brother' just like he was talking to his students about in his ethics class

So what did the questinnaire ask?

Yes, I figured "that scene" early in the movie was there for a reason (there's always a reason the director shows you something!)

Typical questions: Did you like it, rate it before/after, had you read about it, seen trailers, favourite characters, favourite scenes, things you didn't like (killing "normal" people - it's a comic book for c's sake!), would you recommend it to frienRAB, was it better/worse than spiderman 2, x-men 1/2, fantastic four, etc etc. Just normal marketing questions...

Nothing really interesting, or related to the scene at the end, although "favourite scenes" MIGHT include that one...

I am surprised that most people didnt know about this extra scene as most reviews have mentioned it. LoaRAB of people stayed behind to watch the extra scene when I saw it in the cinema on friday!

Take it from me, you didn't really miss anything, i did really enjoy the film though and thought it was the best of the 3 and i can't believe some of the negative reviews that this film has been receiving, i would even say it was bordering on epic, although i am easily pleased! i do think though that the new Superman film will do well to better this.

In my opinion i thought it was a fitting end to the trilogy even though there are rumours of more and spin-oRAB. I was also surprised by some of the outcomes of the characters in the end but i think they worked well.

Anyone into superhero films i would definately recommend seeing this.

Yeah, I remembered some review telling readers to stay till the end for a surprise. But it really was a case of blinking and missing it - wasn't it? I mean, the damned scene was less than 4 seconRAB long!

Not impressed that they're bringing the professor back as his twin brother. Okay, if they make X4, then I'm pleased as the X movies are pretty darned entertaining (comic geek here...)

But I think it was a lame way to keep the professor alive nonetheless. Bring back Cyclops instead (oh, and bring Jean back too...)

I think there were probably a number of reasons they killed poor Cyclops off. One, his shooting schedule on the Superman movie may have limited his availability. Two, he's not a big name actor - I mean, even Famke Janssen and the chap who plays Ice Man have actually been in my television and film stuff than poor old James Marsden. And three, they wanted to make Hugh Jackman's role even bigger - and they couldn't have a confrontation between Phoenix and Wolverine in the final scene unless Cyclops is dead and out of the way. Poor Cyclops.
