X Files I want to believe DVD..problems

I asked for the X Files DVD for xmas, and specifically for the digital copy transfer set, so I could put the film on my ipod.

I started to follow the instructions and it said'please add the 16 digit code on the sleeve. This is where the problem arose, there IS no number printed, just a blank white space.

I have emailed fox digital and they gave me a code , but it did not work, so I emailed again and they replied saying there is an issue with the UK copies and they will try to fix it, and if they do they will contact me.

Meanwhile I am stuck with a DVD set that costs more than the normal one, and nothing to show for it exept a promise that they MIGHT fix the problem sometime in the future, and if they do, they will mail me


Miffed to say the least.............did anyone else have this problem??
 
I am not sure, it seems as if perhaps some were printed without their codes.

They sent me a code but it was for US only, so I suppose the codes can be used for other DVRAB, unless it was some kind of universal code......

It is very disappointing, as the person who bought it for me went out of their way to buy this specific copy of the DVD simply so I could use it on my ipod.

I dont hold out much hope of a reply from them :(
