I recently received my x-arcade solo and purchased a used ps2 slim in attempts to use the arcade stick. However, the arcade stick will not respond to any commands. I tried to trouble shoot it from every angle possible. I even attempted to use my xim 360 mod as yet another intermediary device in order to trick the xbox into thinking that a real controller was hooked up. Again, no dice.
I live in South Korea, so it's difficult for me to contact live tech support through the company's dedicated line. I did email them with more specifics of my problem, yet they gave me a very shallow answer in response. They advised me to try to use the usb ports in the back of the slim. I did so to no avail.
I'm thinking that it may be an xbox 360 slim firmware issue. Is it because the new firmware is more deterrent to third party peripherals?
Any advice/resolution would be much obliged.
