I couldn't really tell you. . . . I remember they gave making things even after a (real) server downtime as the reason for the double rewards.

Correct, the double upload credit and double invites initiative was implemented long before ScT died; I don't believe there's a connection between the two.

He's always been alive, what gave you the idea that he ever disappeared? Sure he isn't as active as always, but he's always had rogue posts on SCC, and always been in the ScT/Eclecticist IRC chans.

the "owner" is called ScT. ScT was the irc bot lol. they could have at least copied a decent staff name.

I just had quite a decent chat with the new Sys-Op. As far as I can see into this character, his intent is not scamming. He's just trying to bring something he loved back.

He was one of the people who worked on the ScTv2 project that everyone on Eclecticist was expecting, and he's handling it all now (simply because everyone quit). Maybe I was too quick to judge this one.
