WW2 movies

Can anyone recommend some decent WW2 films please? My other half loves them but I have no idea what ones are good.

He seems to think that a new one came out earlier this year and should be on DVD now or soon. Any ideas what that might be?

Any help would be great. I think the more recent ones would appeal more.
